The story covers the emotional and physical highs and lows from the perspectives of the patient, Bennett, and caregiver, Terri. The book details the time when Bennett was first suspected of having colon cancer, the diagnosis, pre-treatment steps, surgeries, treatment, and post-treatment activities. Our story attempts to peel back the curtain to describe how the cancer diagnosis has changed two people's lives, and how God has been there every step along their journey to encourage and support both the patient and caregiver. Bennett and Terri share their life journey that is filled with hope and joy … even while battling cancer. The book offers the Plan of Salvation for non-believers and helpful tips for people going through their own cancer journey.
